Situation

The CEO of the international education company wanted the organization to focus on delivering student outcomes. The transformation would require a change of mindset among the leadership team, a change of skill set among instructional designers, and a change of outcomes for the organization.


Action

We created CEO communications and facilitated workshops for top executives, including breakout sessions and pre-and post-workshop content. 

We also coached Chief Learning Officers (CLOs) on cascading the learning strategy within their organizations, including influencing their CEOs, managing their teams, setting milestones, and prioritizing initiatives. 

Finally, we designed and implemented a biannual learning review processes, metrics dashboards, and communication plans to align business and learning plans/budgets.


Results

My team executed the company’s long-term strategy and cultural transformation across 14 business divisions in the US, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. 

The learning reviews received priority equal to financial reviews. 

The company’s executives effortlessly spoke about the company’s impact on student outcomes, one of the many pieces of evidence that the cultural change had taken root within the company.
